I am relieved when I hear of death
Posted by Anonymous Down Under in Weird on Jan 10th, 2010 | 14 commentsFirstly, I’m not heartless. I’m just a practical person that know full well that this earth is over populated. And at the rate we’re going, there will be nothing for our grandchildren, let alone the rest of the whomever is left.
When I hear about someone’s baby, child, mother, whatever dying, I am secretly relieved and feel like congratulating them on their loved one’s bit to make the world a better place. Of course, I don’t do this.
I am fine with dying myself knowing there’s one less person for the fragile earth to support. What needs tohappen is that old folks need to die and people, especially poor, uneducated one, need to have much fewer babies. None, if possible. This is eugenics. Look it up. Very controversial but I think quite helpful in this state were in.

i couldn’t agree more. who says that humans have the right to destroy the world and everything else in it with our inability to control ourselves?? why shouldn’t every other living thing on this planet be given the same chance to exist? the world is a much stronger force than humanity. if we can’t control ourselves, nature will do it for us. i secretly cheer at every natural disaster and death by animal. i would much prefer that people control the population themselves by only being allowed 1 child per household…but in the meantime, bring on the earthquakes.
AMEN! Of course no one wants their loved ones to die, but really, until we manage to enforce the “1 (or 2) child(ren) per household” rule, which more than likely is going to happen, I also secretly cheer at natural things like pandemonias. As long as the death is not too painful and drawn out.

No it’s not. Given Earth’s population vs. land mass, there is plenty of room. Urbanization and localized population overgrowth makes it appear that way. For instance Africa suffers from condensed population problems, and this in turn causes the depletion of natural resources. The answer is not in letting people die, but inventing and using technologies for better agriculture and water distribution.
The world is overpopulated, this is true. And death is just as much a part of life as birth.
So many people fear death. Your reaction to it is just different.
However, be fair. It is not up to you to decide who has a right to live (the “poor and uneducated?”…. thats trouble).
Check out UNFDA. Also stop thinking about as humanity as nature as seperate from nature. Its all part of the same system.
