Posted by americanpsycho in Weird on Jul 24th, 2010 | 6 commentswhere do i begin…(im a young female lesbian) who has a disorder that only i know i have “Trich” its when you pull hair out ect. i do it but its not to where people notice. believe it or not most people think im very attractive men and women. but im a perfectionist, for those who have seen american psycho especially the opening scenes thats what i mean. im unhappy unless i look flawless. i cant stand when things arent going the way i like. i get annoyed easilly but try to hide it. i have no clue who i am. if i ever lose my mind i will end up like the guy in the movie..
hopefully not lol but i just feel like a freak but everyone else just livs me, why idk. maybe becuz people like to b seen with the “cool” people. either way im in need of serious change so i dont snap one day.

I agree…professional help. You have Trich..which you seem to be able to control since you can decide where to pull your hair out from, most people with it cant. So you clearly have self control.
But get into see someone.

I have trich too. I try to stop but nothing works. I pull out my eyebrows and eyelashes. over the years its gotten better, at one point i didnt have a single eyebrow hair or eyelash, now i have most of them. Cutting down on any uppers helps from coffee to adderall.
In the movie he never actually killed anybody. I think you got caught up somewhere in there and missed that part… anyway. great movie. And your disorder must be hard to deal with. Good luck.
