tell him! its not fair to trap him into an unfaithful marriage. if its meant to be he will forgive you and still marry you. if you really love him and want him to be happy dont base your marriage on a lie, there’s a good chance that he will end up finding out out anyway if you dont.

Confessing to him accomplishes only one thing: hurting him. Hold this burden by yourself. Even if you end things, don’t tell him what you’ve done. It doesn’t fix anything, doesn’t change anything.

Tell him. It matters.
If you don’t tell him, and he finds out later, he’ll never recover. NEVER.

If you tell him now, there’s a chance he’ll forgive you and get over it. This is the most important decision of his life – he deserves to have all the information required to make that decision. Right now… you’re the only one with all the information.

Take it from me on this one – if you start your marriage with a lie like this in the back of your mind, you’re going to cheat yourself, and him, out of an honest relationship. An honest relationship will grow and get better over time. A dishonest one will fester and eventually die. It’s that important.

Just tell him. If there’s no fear that he’ll turn violent do it in private. Just say “I have something to tell you. I feel terrible about this but I have to tell you. I slept with Steve (or whoever).”

There are NO words that will make this easier for him. Just give him the bare facts “I slept with Steve” and then leave it up to him to ask the questions. He will tell you how much he wants to know.

If he asks “why” you can tell him how scared you are, how messed up you feel, how frightened you are of getting married, how depressed you’ve been lately. Whatever the reason is tell him the TRUTH. If you don’t know…tell him that. And tell him you want to get couples counselling to sort out why you feel that way.

This could end your relationship but you have to do the right thing by telling the truth.
