I married a black woman, we have four adopted daughters of different races, we’re pagan.
I’ve never been happier. I may even send you a picture, hopefully the shock will kill you.

I dont understand where you are from and what religion you are, above comment I am refering to. But where I come from we respect one another, perhaps religions differ but I will happily say I am a christian but I cannot accept the hate towards love of the same sex. Love is love, and love is something we are suppose to share, your comment was nothing but hate!

I question the validity of your statements as a whole. It almost seems you wrote that “confession” so you could get people rilled up.
I also think that YOU are to wrapped up with race, why does it matter that you are blue eyed and blond haired? Would I not have gotten the point if you just pointed out that the person you married was different then what your parents would have liked?
If this is a true “confession”, it looks like you haven chosen love to make a statement and in my opinion that would be one of the worst ways to go about loving someone.
It’s better help your parents to be better people than hate them because they aren’t.

As an adult she’s accountable for what she writes. Stop making excuses. What kind of person tells their parents to die, in such a smug, cold-hearted manner?
My parents were terrible. They abused me verbally, psychologically and physically. Now that I’m grown up, I see them as human beings, not so much as parents. I see them as people who were struggling, who had their own pain and limitations. I still think they were bad parents, but as human beings I’ve forgiven them.

Until you forgive your parents for whatever hurt you feel they inflicted on you, you will never be free. You think you are now because you’ve made the choices mentioned, but you are still dragging around a huge load of old baggage around and it hinders you from moving on in a truly good life.

So, Mom and Dad, I confess this; I am an atheist. And quite staunch atheist at that. I have rejected Christianity and the Bible, and all religious belief, since the age of 17. Even hearing the name Christ makes me cringe. I’m quite disgusted by religion and will continue to be until my death. So there it is. Like confessing a murder (as our society treats atheism).
Aha! you’ve all tried and failed to come up with the motivation for this post, but I have the answer!! The author quite obviously wanted to read all the stupid and judgmental crap that everyone would post because for some reason, deep down inside you all believe that you and only you are doing life the way everyone else should. I agree with Kav – that Bible quote (as with the majority of the Bible) only refers to men so if the religious preachers are in to taking the Bible THAT literally, women can do what the hell they want lol!
For all the people hating – I don’t think she actually intended to wish death upon her parents. It’s called RESENTMENT – when you say “I could have killed her/him” you don’t actually mean it. I say good on you, not many people are as strong and I wish you a life time of happiness!
