I will always love him the most. We are perfect for each other … except he’s gay. And closeted. And there’s nothing I can do to help.

  1. Sorry, I disagree with the fact that it is unatural to be gay. There is nothing wrong with that.

But this is about you and your feelings and can I just say from one woman to another, I completely understand what it’s like to love someone that you just know will never feel the same way. As much as I wanted to keep this person in my life, it was hurting me too much to bottle up my feelings. So I told him. And he didn’t feel the same way. But we agreed to take some time apart so that I could sort my head out. And guess what, not only did I meet someone knew, but I was now able to resume my amazing friendship with my amazing best friend. Time changes everything and patience is a virtue. If you need to take time, and he is a true friend, he will understand. I hope you do what is best for you xx take care.

  2. I know what you mean. I was faced with a similar man. It’s unnatural and a learned behavior for anyone to be queer. It took a long time, however this man finally corrected via counseling. We were then able to proceed however everyone is different. There was little I could do to help either. It may be a long road.
    Good luck to you.
