We’ve been going out for several months… but I have a best friend in high school, and found out she’s–yes, she– is in love with me. In the future I wonder what it will be like if a chance arises to go out with her, because in the past I had a crush on her. My family will probably kill me before they allow me to become a lesbian, ha-ha… I care about my boyfriend and love him too. Torn…

Do what’s in your heart.
Don’t worry so much about what your family will think. Families tend to put up a lot of barriers and judgments when its not a situation that really applies to them. You might be surprised how accepting they will be of you once you give them no choice but to accept you the way you are.
As long as you acknowledge the fact that this is a very serious situation.. not one you can be wishy washy about.. and make a serious decision.. then more power to you. I hope you figure it out and end up where you can both be loved and love in return to full copasity, where ever that is!
If you’re interested in women, don’t suppress it or ignore it. Begin to explore it and see what happens. Take it from someone who knows, I’m just coming out of a long, unhappy marriage because my preference was women but when I was young I was scared. Now, I feel wonderful being me
