Dreamer

So I am 16, and have never had a boyfriend. I’ve been in love with my best friend, but never actually dated. Before I fall asleep, I used to imagine that a new neighbor moved in around the block, and we meet. We become close friends right away, and he is the dreamiest, most charming guy I’ve ever met. Eventually, we slowly begin to date.

Now I do this before I sleep sooo much, that I am not even looking at other guys because none can compare to the guy “in my dreams”.

Two houses sold down the street from me, and I am secretly hoping that one of them has a teenage boy that I can meet.

I just want to be in love already!

    You’re 16 and I am glad to hear you have not dated. What you have in your mind is the right way to fall in love. The best kind of relationship can come from someone who is a close friend first. Unfortunately it is so rare and people start based on looks alone. Don’t rush into anything with anyone. Keep dreaming. It’s a dream we all can have no matter how old we are. I hope to be that guy to some lady someday.

    you’re 16, don’t worry about it, it happens when you least expect it, just be happy being yourself and one day someone will see how awesome you are for being yourself too. it will probably be someone so unexpected that there’s no point comparing him to your imaginary dream man cus there’s no similarity. but the real person will be wonderful in hundreds of little ways you couldn’t imagine and it will make you love him more because he’s the only person like that and he’s yours. it’s worth the wait.

    Sweety you’re in love with LOVE. I mean there’s nothing bad about it just don’t jump to the first guy you meet because you think you’re in love with him, when really your in love with the concept of being with someone. Your 16 so don’t worry take it easy and enjoy those wonderful years of your life and keep on dreaming before this world destroys them. I know it sound a bit harsh and I really don’t want you to think that the world is bad or anything like that, I’m just saying that your in that wonderful age for dreaming and who knows maybe your dream will come true. I’m cheering for you!!!!!!!
