Confused

But the problem is he doesn’t notice me and im to afraid if I go up to him I will make a fool of myself. Also the popular girl likes him, but she has a better chance then me, because when he first came to school she took him under her wing, im so confused and don’t know what to do.

hi its simple since this you said is ur last year in high school then you shouldnt have nothing to fear find out what this guy likes his dislikes his hobbies music foods places snacks books if he reads books you get my point get info on him dont make yourself look too obvious or desperate be cool and normal when you get what you need then use it to ur advantage and forget the popular girl theyre around just for a time so if you really want him make a move what you got to loose nothing you leaving the school anyhow
Unfortunately the high school hierarchy probably precludes any kind of relationship between you and your crush if, as you say it, he is with the “popular kids”, and you arent.
While GET CONFIDENCE is correct that, if you plan to make a move, now isnt really a bad time (considering its all over soon anyway), I would suggest against tailoring yourself to fit his likes. If you do end up having a relationship with him, you dont want it to be based on false pretenses.
