I find it a waste of time to worry about something you have absolutely no control over. Your race is something you cannot change (unless your Michael Jackson). So forget and move on to something else.
Why is it that so many people are unhappy with how they are and what they have? If they have straight hair they wished it were curly. If they have curly hair, they wished it were straight. Be happy with who you are. The mixed races probably wish they weren’t mixed! Everyone is unique just as they are. Be happy with who you are. "I was mad that I had to wear these old shoes, until I met someone without any feet."
there is nothing wrong with what your race might be. i’ll tell you what. in the end we are all mixed. got alil bit of something we don’t even know. don’t focus on race myman focus on the person itself. you are special even if you don’t believe it yourself.
i am mixed and im judged by it so dont worry about it its not all flowers a candy in our world either we get it worse than anyone just a few minutes ago a girl told me she couldnt date me because she didnt believe in mixed races
Be proud of who you are, im mixed and I get questioned all the time asking what race am I. So, at least you won’t get questioned, that gets annoying, lol.
I am brazilian and in our country, being mixed is somewhat our pride as a people, in comparision with racism of other countries. My complexion is white, I could be taken by portuguese, but my grandfather were half-black and had some native brazilian blood for ancestors. But if you feel yourself annoyed for it, my suggestion is: you may have an interracial marriage someday, but don’t choose your wife/husband by race; just think if he/she fits well in your life, and makes you happy. If she’s from another race or mixed, try to remember your feelings. You’ll have so unique children as you’d like to have been in the past and don’t forget to make them pride of BOTH heritages. My complexion is white, but if I marry someone with different origins/complexion than me, I’d like to see my children proud of their origins, and I am part of them too.
don’t waste time thinking about races, black and white people and asian people or we easel you are doesn’t make a difference as to how good of a person you are. so what if their different…don’t put so much thought into it
i believe everyone is mixed because we all come from adam and eve soo we all are mixed either a little bit or a lot.don’t be jealous everyone is different in some way…just be happy with you =]
We are all unique coloring rarely has anything to do with it.
Enjoy your skin pigment, enjoy the way you laugh, enjoy your family and your heritage…
If you do, others will too.
I knew someone who wished his legs were longer so he can be taller..until he met his new classmate Bob. Bob was in a wheelchair. He is now grateful that his legs even work. Be happy for who you are because there is no one else out there who is like you. you ARE unique
The cons of being mixed: People never know what you are – they can’t figure you out! E.g. “Are you Chinese or something?” (When I’m a mix of English and Malay). It gets tedious. The Brits think I’m Asian and the Asians think I’m “white”. I’m neither. And both.
So what? You really can’t change that fact. Deal with it. If you want you can just pass on that wish of yours onto your kids. Marry a guy who has a completely different race then you and make babies. Even though you don’t get to be mixed you can at least tell people you have mixed baby.
It might have been unique few centuries ago… Nowadays there are so many people from mixed races, wonder do “pure” races even exist… And does it really matter? People are people, you know…
Also, how can you know for sure you’re not mixed yourself? Maybe some of your Greatgrand parents was from different race? You can never know… Love yourself for who you are :)
