i don’t believe in religion, matter of fact, i absolutely hate religion. i am a bat mitzvahed jewish 15 year old girl, yet i don’t like considering myself a religion. i absolutely do not believe in god. and i hate it when people are religious. overly religious. yet i respect it. i hate how ignorant people are, and it kills me and bothers me to no end. i feel like a failure sometimes because of my beliefs, but i will not.. WILL NOT believe in anything unless it is proved to me. there is no proof of god, there is no proof of jesus. there is no proof of moses. i think its pathetic when people have to use religion to feel like they are living their lives the right way. you only have one life! why would you waste it that way ?!

i sort of agree with you. but i dun have religion. i think religion segregates humans. in fact different beliefs leads to wars and conflicts. in a way religions are dangerous.

I whole heartedly agree with you. You may be young, but you are exactly on track. The fact that you respect people is noble of you, however, never forget ANYONE who believes in an imaginary force producing their own lives is THE ENEMY of all things visible (large and microbial).
The truth of all religion is that every single TRUE religious experience was achieved under the influence of medicinal plants/drugs/herbs & hallucigens. Moreover what the “shamins” experienced and the people wrote about are two different things. Religion today is nothing more then a watered down trip report, reported by a person who would never consider taking the voyage him/herself. It is all bogus! Science is what has replaced religion.. you know, we do keep evolving.. this is merely the evolution of an idea.

Hey i totally agree with you, i dont believe in religion, i do believe jesus may have existed and did many great things but i believe he was only human not the son of a god just a good sumeritan. But i dont believe religion should be extinguished either i used to but now i do reliase that it does help alot of people just having something to belive in just having faith can do the most amazing things to people it just gives them hope inner peace, i envy them for i will always question what happens after death and that leaves me with a sense of anxiety..

I was raised to be a good christian, but I always felt uncomfortable with religion. My mom wants to “save my soul,” yet I feel I could never MAKE myself believe something that isn’t right for me. I was hurting myself tremendously by trying to force religion in my heart. I wanted to be “good,” and I was scared. However, with time I realized that I had to be true to myself and accept that I have no religion. With this weight off my shoulders, I can rejoice in what I have found.
However, I do not hate religion. Before, it was paired in my mind with foolishness, weakness, and ignorance. With more thought, I also realized that religion can be a GREAT thing for those that it POSITIVELY affects. Rather than fighting the concept of religion as a whole, I want to be a good person who fights some of the bad things that accompany religion. I want to combat ignorance and foolish beliefs when they hurt others and impede progress. But, I would NEVER want another human being to lose their faith if it helps them personally.

i compleltely agree with this.
how does believeing in jesus or god bring peace?
nothings changing, religion for the most part causes hate.. not peace.
mel gibson for instance is so ignorant he believes the holocaust didn’t even happen.

Believing is a leap of Faith and Trust. I am a Christian mother of two, wife to a devoted man and we do struggle with our faith…it is definitely a tricky thing to blindly believe and trust. But I just can’t help but believe that there IS something beyond this place, waiting for me. I grew up unchurched…and kind of felt the way you did. But fortunately after my husband and I were married, the holy spirit worked his way into my heart and it lead us on the path we are on today.

you say that religion casues war well then hear me out.. If the people in this world actually bothered to go according to the religion, if americans weren’t against Muslims for no reason, trust me this world would be a better place.
Believe in God and obey His orders otherise and trust me your life will be better. And do yourself a favour and don’t hate religion.
