I agree with mikeo but if its true, you should feel a degree of guilt for not going to his aid. If someone accidently hits another person in their car, they can be charged if they leave the scene. Why should the situation be any different in your case?

dude you did not kill him. I mean had you thrown the ladder on his head, you would have been guilty. Thank God right now for making you walk at that time else mean people of this world would have called you a murderer and you would have been in jail for just being silent. If the ladder was about to fall, primary responsibility still lies with that dude. He was not being cautious. Your responsiblity was that of a good responsible person which you proved not to be for reasons you’d better know. Just go to sleep tonight coz its the first day of the rest of your life buddy!

sounds like bullshit to me, if it was a step ladder it wouldn’t have been big enough to hurt anything, and you couldn’t have knocked over an extenion ladder with just you knee.

if you killed a person thats a thing you would have to admmit and if you will have to go to jail its okay at least you did the right thing and at least god will accept you in heaven
