I lie to my friends about my nationality. I hate my country. I wish I was British. Noone can tell because I am from a British private school and that I’ve been acting like a normal Brit citizen all my life. I will always be British at heart.

I understand your want to be separate from somthing you migh tbe embarrassed about or hurt by. Often what we feel we are in our hearts is really who we are, even if the paper work doesnt agree with us. ;)

If you’re American- then you’re right, England is better :). If you’re from some european country with embarrassing history, forget about it. Tell the ladies, make it sound romantically tragic. England is so dull and everyday.

Now that is stupid. Everyone is different. Every one with different nationality has there own uniqueness! A lot of people right now were probably thinking if they could have YOUR nationality.
