When they arrived, I told them that we found her like that on a bridge nearby. She could face criminal charges. I just hung her out to dry.

at the end of the day the only person who is gonna have your back is you. whose to say she wouldnt have done the same thing. its not your fault she got really drunk you didnt force the drinks down her throat it was her choice. she has to live with the consequences for her wrong doing.
