I used to see him more often when I was a kid. but after his son was born, he stopped visiting us. now, I only see him for my birthday, my sister's birthday and xmas. Actually, he didn't show up for this xmas. Actually, he didn’t show up for this xmas. I agree with you, it does hurt, a lot. and I don’t think one ever gets over it. children should never suffer that kind of loss, where your parent leaves you because he/she can’t keep it in his pants.
