Not Good Enough
Posted by Wanting More in Family on Jun 16th, 2010 | 2 commentsNo matter how hard I try to be a better husband, father, provider, etc. it’s never enough. I’m thinking I should quit trying because at least I’ll have my happiness to balance out her complaints.
I really really love her still despite years of having to beg for sex and put up with not doing enough.

Welcome to the club. Piece of advice – don’t give up. Get books on love, communication and intimacy and read them together. The reason you’re not getting sex is because your wife doesn’t feel connected to you emotionally. Nothing you DO is going to fix that. You have to talk to her and tell her how you feel (not good enough, ignored, like nothing you do helps), and ask her how she feels and what you can do about it. Get counseling (sex therapist).
But don’t give up – that’s what I did, and my wife ended up cheating on ME because I ignored her… And someone else didn’t.
You also might want to work on being a person that YOU like. You’re way too dependant on her for validation.
You sound better than you have been treated. Leave, and find someone who will return your love. Why be miserable? Life’s too short.
