merry christmas!
Posted by jessica in Family on Dec 26th, 2010 | 3 commentsmy christmas present to me this year was one of the best ones ive ever had. i finally told my family about the rape. they didnt judge,hate or pitty me. they told me they loved me and there always there for me. this gave me strength, tomorrow i will go report it. i hope this son of a bitch had a good christmas because itll be his last one not behind bars.

Good for you!!! My life is better than ever after reporting it! ******* is in jail now, for good this time.
You are a survivor, good luck on your recovery. I am glad your family was nothing but supportive.
Blessings to you. I’m a survivor too and I know how sexual assault will affect every aspect of your life, I understand how unfair it is and how much work it takes to overcome, I pray to God that your rapist ends up behind bars and I want you to make sure that you do your best to put him away. But I would like to forewarn you how unfair the legal system is, how oftentimes the victim is treated as the guilty one and those bastards go free.
I tell you this not to discourage you, I understand the desire to put them away for your safety and for others’ safety. The reality is, is the often get away with it, that’s what has happened to me and several survivor friends I have.
