Posted by lanna in Family on Sep 30th, 2010 | 6 commentsmy parents loved you, even after we spilt up. even after i told them you would beat me. they still ask about you and think i should give you another chance. i gave you enough chances and all i got in return were three broken ribs, a broken nose, a black eye, and a daughter who will NEVER see her father. i hope one day they will forgive me for leaving you, but i just couldnt take it anymore.

lanna, you did what you absolutely had to do for your own safety and your daughter’s safety.
I’m sorry that your parents are not supporting you. I know from personal experience how hurtful this can be. My ex was not physically harmful but he was emotionally abusive, and my DAD still loves him, to this day. I wanted him to want to protect me, his little girl, and to be angry at my ex for mistreating me.
Ianna, your family sucks. But never apologize for putting yourself and your child first, EVER. You’re gonna be fine. Your parents need help. No, seriously, they need help.

I am proud of you for leaving the sorry POS! I know what abuse is like…Good luck on the journey in your life…as for the parents may God open their eyes to see the real truth. They are the ones missing out on you and grandkids…Prayin for yall.
It takes A LOT of force to break someone’s bones! There is no excuse for that- your parents sound delusional. Keep in mind that just because you are a parent, doesn’t make you a good person. It sounds like they valued him more than you. Get rid of crappy people, no matter who they are and you will see your life improve! I did it! I have no regrets getting rid of my scum sisters.
Your family is stupid and don’t care about what’s best for you. Only what ppl will think. I’m so sorry. Kinda want to break their ribs for not caring about their daughter.
