Homelessness vs. Suicide. A choice.

I am about to become homeless. At this point in my life (older guy not in the best of health) I have decided that choosing to end this all is a wiser option. Go out on my own terms as opposed to living a life of certain suffering.

My life has been one hell of a roller coaster ride, but I’m ready to get off.

  1. Homelessness done right can be an adventure. If there’s no way but rock bottom, try embracing it. Death is permanent, hardships are not. I’ve been at that low too, but oh how many places I’ve been with nearly nothing to my name. And it got better.

  2. I also believe that you have the right to choose what you want but with that said have you looked into public housing or section eight? If you have a roof over your head things won’t be so bleak. It could be a temporary fix until you get up on your feet again. Just explore the option and things will get better

  3. I hope you didn’t harm yourself, yet. I hope you’ll read this. Before you decide on doing anything, please, try this first: think of one (just one) other thing you could do to make your situation a little better. If you want to go – this is your choice, but before that try this one other thing. You can always come back to your previous plan, but if there’s any other way you could solve your problems – try it first. Think of one, just one thing…

  4. Here is the thing, I do know how you feel, but don’t end your life, however bad might be. You don’t know when you will get to find your happiness. Maybe you already found it the moment you were born, maybe in your 20s’ or 40s’ or yours 60s’. If there is a God, He has a plan for all of us. The people who have suffered, the oppressed and the pained. The people who have been through hell, those who have been wronged and those who have been punished by life itself. I promise you, you will find your happiness, and if you won’t, happiness will find you.

  5. See the bigger picture!

You are expansive, vibrant and lovely if I do say so myself.

Focus on the whole of you, not the fragments that break you, but the ones that make you into a colorful masterpiece.

The beauty of your magnificence is like a priceless piece of art, there is no other like you, and there never will be.

  6. Do you have any friends / family that can help you out for awhile? I don’t know you obviously but this is sad to hear. There is always hope I feel. Hope a miracle happens and you soon get help needed emotionally & health wise. God bless!

  7. Dear Friend,
Please don’t harm yourself. Suicide never solves any problems but everyday someone’s homelessness is solved. You will again be domiciled so don’t give up. Take care now and let us know how things work out.
