Not sure what I “love” to do

I’m 25 years old male and still don’t exactly what I should be doing with my life. Everyday if not working, I’m usually cleaning the house, gaming or whacking it to something. These things bring me partial happiness, but just a bit. I already feel/know I’m focusing on the wrong things. I’m having trouble getting out of my loop. My niece, who I believe is doing than me, always tells me, “Do what you love. What do you love?” Half the time. I don’t know. I have a fantasy of drawing smut. But.. I don’t know if that’s me or the porn talking. Haha.

What are something you love? And do you actually do those things?

  1. So draw some smut and see where it takes you. If you really good you can make some serious money just on your drawings alone. Indulge your creative side. There’s honestly a market for anything. Have fun with life.

    Good luck man :)

  2. I’m soon to be 35 and still don’t know what I want to do. I like many things but just somewhat. Thete isn’t any one thing I LOVE except maybe freedom. I am married with four kids and love them more than anything. I sacrifice a lot for them. I had kids young. I know as I come into my 40s they’ll be all grown. The only thing I can think of doing when that day comes is to sell everything and travel. The only thing I guess I can say I truly love is seeing what’s over the next horizon. In fact, it’s why I got a cdl to drive truck. I like to be on the go. If there is one piece of advice I can give you though is to EXPLORE. You will never know what you like until you try things. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is important. Do this before you get hampered down by anyone else or anything. Honestly, if you are young and single your world is only as small as your mind and experience. So..
Don’t get anyone pregnant, don’t follow the status quo, chase the American Dream or listen to people who tell you to do things a certain way. Be resourceful, don’t be a drag on others but seriously, if you feel compelled to do something even as crazy as being homeless for a while….do it. Do not put yourself in a box. And sacrifice the video games to push yourself out there. At least for a good solid while.

  3. I’m with you. I’m the same age as you. I’ve been to school for two different things, graduated, and both times I realized that I absolutely hated it. Now I’m in debt for leaping too fast. There’s absolutely nothing that I’m passionate about. I somewhat enjoy everything, but there’s nothing I strongly enjoy. Like 99% of the population, I assume I’ll stick to bogus jobs for the rest of my life, and die broke.

  4. By trying things out youll discover other areas you like. Youll be pleasantly surprised. Alot of people out there dont know what to do.

  5. I love to exercise by running cross country circuits. This I have been doing for years. Something else I love is spending time with family and friends, which I try to do fairly often. Maybe you would benefit by doing an interests inventory – there are a few online and they’re free. The local library also offers them. Once you discover your interests, then you will likely find that pursuing brings you joy. In the meantime, why not allow yourself to start dating if you are not yet doing so? Finding someone who cares about you can also be a great inspiration. Good luck.
