They care about them money you bring in, but if you leave they will find a replacement. It is not your fault that so many people have been resigning. It is the fault of your current employer. People start businesses, and businesses fail. That's life. If your company fails, it is not your fault. Remember, you are not the only one resigning. But I have been with my company for 3 years. My company is a sinking ship though. They have been losing clients quite a bit lately. I have been working trying to get the job I was just offered for four months now. Worst part is, my new job is with one of our current clients and when I go over there, my current employer will lose a big account since I will be doing the same thing but directly for the company. I go on vacation for a week starting tomorrow. And I haven't turned in my notice either. It seems tacky, but at least this way I get more vacation time this year. I feel bad because of loyalty to my current employer, they started me out in this business, but the way I look at it is that you have to take care of yourself. No one else will. This is business yes, but it is your life. You have to better yourself and do what's right for you. After a little bit with your new job, you will forget all about your current job and they will forget about you. Do what is right. For you. I am in the same situation right now.
