Posted by Anonymous in Childhood on Dec 8th, 2007 | 4 commentsI was the oldest of 5 kids, I hated being around them, and my parents fought all the time, I hated that also, so I grew up closer to the yard dogs than any of my siblings, I’m 62 now and still love dogs better than them.

I can understand what you’re saying as I’m the same way.
This is so sad. Most pet dogs are loyal and devoted, which is sometimes more than family is.
dogs are waaaaaaaayyyyy better than some people..i love my 5 dogs soooooo much..
I’m the same way with cats. I was raised by an alcoholic and a disinterested parent.
