Demons in my dreams
Posted by child of war in Childhood on Apr 4th, 2008 | 5 commentsI still remember the war…. 12 years of civil war…. the heads of people cut off on the side of the street…. i was a child then … i still remember and at night they come to me in my dreams ….. its 15 years later when will it stop…. i took a gun to my head to night …. almost pulled the trigger, i remembered theirs more to life but i feel like one one this nights… i will make the demons stop and leave everything behind.

I can not even begin to imagine what you are going through. If I had these visions in my head as well as in my dreams every night for the past 15 yrs, I to would want to just die so that it would stop. But,Suicide is not the answer. Do you believe in God? If you havent already then maybe its time you find God and bring him into your life. I am not a religious person at all but, finding faith may be another route you can take. Its worth a try. As long as you belive, you will succeed!. Hang in there.
God can save men from their own past.

try going on ur knells and with all ur heart cclose ur eyes and tell him u want him to help u overcome ur problemsans,tell Him u want to be His friend and u’ll definitly experience a calm peace within ur heart,try it u’ll feel good
I would recommend seeing a psychologist. These persistent images might be reduced through therapy. After a traumatic childhood event, psychologists can help.
You obviously have PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) As far as I know, counseling is necessary. Please seek help for yourself because it is out there! Good luck to you! ps, where did you grow up?
