Run Away

I often feel like running off and starting fresh. I don’t fit in with any particular group here. I just want to start new in a town where no one knows me. These daily problems I face are slowly killing me inside and no one knows. Everyone assumes I’m fine by the smile on my face. Little do they know that the smile is nothing but a band aid covering a wound that cannot heal.

Why don’t you confide in someone you can trust. maybe someone can help you. If you are married it may be too hard to just pick up stakes and leave, but you are making a big mistake by holding it in.

I did this once, i changed the college where i was studying, trying a totally new domain. First week was fine, but guess what,it slowly became the same hell. I think it’s yourself who create the problem and until you do something about it, nothing will change this.

Doesn’t sound like a bad plan, I would do it but not because I don’t fit in, just because it would be fun to live in a new place after a while.

Maybe when I’m older I’ll do that, move onto a new town every few months.

like you say a smile is covering a wound that cannot heal, a wound is a wound no matter where you go, but, every problem you face you can over come, change ‘wounds’ into heroic ‘battle scars’. you could move town and start fresh, but you will hit the same problems everywhere you go. its not your fault or anything, its life. but every problem will teach you how to deal with the next, stay where you are, you never know if there is someone else there who feels just as you do. someone who knows how to help. some of the greatest feats of life were started by a single person, not fitting in is just the means of starting your own world, not fitting into another.
